Frequently Asked Questions

  • How much does it cost to join the WWNA?

$15 per household (or $30 for business) per fiscal year (fiscal year runs from March – February). Dues are taken at the time you join and are due again in March of each year.  This amended amount is being presented at the March 30, 2009 WWNA General Meeting for approval.

  • Is this a Homeowners Association?

No. The WWNA was formed to provide an organized framework to promote, preserve, and enhance the quality of life and values in the WWNA neighborhood.  The WWNA  was NOT formed to dictate the color of your home or the way you can design your home/yard.

  • Do I have to join the WWNA to negotiate a lease?

No, but it sure helps to have all the neighborhood support in order to continue paying for copies, postage, phone service, website fees, etc. to keep neighbors informed of local issues affecting the neighborhood. If you are able to afford your dues we encourage you join to help cover these costs.

Please note, your commitment to wait to sign and work with the Association helps us to have a larger number to use as bargaining power to approach a Gas company.

  • Can I still get information regarding the gas lease negotiations, even if I don’t join the WWNA?

Yes. Please contact us to get on the e-mail and phone lists (revisit the Home Page for contact information).

  • Do I still want to join if I’ve already signed a gas lease with a gas company?

Yes. Not only has the WWNA been formed to help negotiate a gas lease for our community, its goal is to provide an organized framework to promote, preserve, and enhance the quality of life and values in the WWNA neighborhood.
